Medical grade skin care has pure, often encapsulated, active ingredients and therapeutic dosages that make cell changes within the skin. This means they are scientifically proven to work and penetrate deeply to repair, restore and prevent many skin conditions or deterioration of the skin’s physical appearance and sensation. Medical grade skin care cannot be bought over the counter, in shops or salons. It has a scientific evidence base to support the effects that are proven by dermatologists and can often be quite potent in formulation. These can only be assessed for by a registered and trained medical professional and supplied authentically and officially so. Many medical grade skin care products are also prescription only products.
